What we do
Growing Together is a gardening project for adults with learning disabilities. It runs every every Friday 10:30am – 1:30pm at The Bridge Between.
In this project we grow a variety of vegetables and flowers in the growing season. We also do litter picking. In the winter months we do art and crafts that are garden related such as decorating pots ready for planting.
We also spend time feeding the birds.
Growing Together is run by Christine and Alison.
Awards we have won
In July 2023 we were also awarded the Green Flag award along with The Bridge Between in recognition for all of our hard work in making the gardens here so wonderful.
When and where?
We have a weekly session with the group held on Fridays. The sessions run from 10.30am to 1.30pmpm and are held at The Bridge Between.
